Timothy Schulz,
chairman of Schulz Family Properties, Inc.,
proudly announces its acquisition of
C & L Aluminum Foundry, Inc. in Fort Worth
Texas. C & L opened its doors in 1956 and has
been a provider of commercial and military grade
aluminum sand castings since it was established.
“Owning and operating a business has been a
lifelong dream of mine and this acquisition will
be beneficial to my family for years to come”.
C & L’s future holds a long term vision of
continuing to serve the smaller volume markets
with diligence while turning its focus to
expansion, modernization, and the development of
an internal progressive vision. Once executed, C
& L will gain a foothold in the diversified
markets of high volume and larger casting
consumers. “It’s imperative to our future that
we start to incorporate new and modern automated
processes, yet never lose focus of our
companywide service industry philosophy.”
Tim Schulz will continue his role as Plant
Manager and President of Operations. His wife
Julie accepts the position of Vice President and
Controller. Tim is a graduate of Pitt State
University and currently serves as the Secretary
and Treasurer on the Texas Cast Metals
Associations board of Directors. Additionally,
Tim is a past Chairman of the Texas Chapter of
the American Foundry Society, and for 11 years
served on the Fort Worth Small Business and
Local Government Advisory Committee. In 2009 he
was invited by Governor Rick Perry and Chairman
Bryan Shaw to serve on the Texas Commission of
Environmental Quality’s Blue Ribbon Committee. |
