Heat Treating
Services We Offer
Because C & L Aluminum
Foundry, Inc. works
with industries such as oil and gas, utility, aerospace and
military, we recognize the need for high performance
aluminum. To deliver on our quality commitments, we invest
in our employees and technology, while managing our business
in a manner that allows us to deliver cost efficiencies to
customers. For example, volume purchasing allows us to share
the savings with our customers.
Heat treatment reduces the chemical segregation of case
structures and improves their workability. It can also
relieve stresses and stabilize properties and dimensions
while improving mechanical properties and hardness.
We work with a variety of aluminum tempers, including T6,
T4, T51 and T71, and temperatures ranging from 310 to 1,000
°F.
C & L Aluminum Foundry, Inc. typically heat treats parts from 1 to 250
lbs., which are typically intended for use in ground support
equipment, aircraft components, mud pumps and transport
piping.
