Foundry, Inc. is proud to announce that we have
recently purchased a 6 cubic foot shot blast
unit which allow for faster cycle times.
Shot blasting is the cheapest and most effective
method of surface preparation. Shot blasting is
a surface finishing technique that involves the
rapid impacting of the surface of an object,
with a controlled stream of abrasive shot
material, to prepare the surface to meet
specifications.
Shot Blasting provides a uniform and consistent,
fine matt or rough, surface. Shot blasting can
also prepare the surface of a casting, for
anodizing or powder coating, by removing surface
contaminants and providing a surface profile for
increased coating adhesion. It also helps reveal
surface defects which can then be repaired for
cosmetic purposes.

of Shot Blast Services. Our staff has the
expertise to identify the combination of
equipment and shot media that will be most
effective in achieving the desired result. By
varying the type of shot, we can shot blast a
